The SE model only has rear sensors, not sure if the front bumper has what appears to be sensors in it, but I think they do, as the models without park assist still have the side ones on the front and rear with nothing connected/working

Hi, I just joined because I have ordered a grandland x plug in hybrid. I got an email with the breakdown of costs from the dealershiip and it has a delivery charge of £700 on it which wasn’t mentioned when I was at the dealership and it seems excessive. Is this a normal charge?

Hi, I believe front parking sensors were not standard on SE models. Standard on other models. Extract from 2019 brochure

SE OTR from £23,935
Standard features include:
Infotainment:
• R4.0 IntelliLink system
– Smartphone projection, Apple CarPlay™
and Android Auto™
– 7-inch colour touchscreen
– AM/FM/digital radio
– Bluetooth® connectivity
– USB connection with iPod control
Interior convenience/styling:
• Dual-zone electronic climate control
• Cruise control with intelligent speed
adaptation
• Leather-covered steering wheel with
audio controls
• Steering column adjustable for reach and rake
• 220-volt power outlet behind front seats
Exterior convenience/styling:
• 17-inch silver-effect alloy wheels
• Auto lighting/windscreen wipers
• Front fog lights
Safety/security:
• Switchable electronic stability programme
• Anti-lock braking system
• Six airbags
• Lane departure warning
• LED daytime running lights
• High beam assist
• Rear parking distance sensors
• Remote control security alarm system

Hope this helps.

Re: front sensors. My Grandland is an SE spec, first registered In September 2019 and does NOT have front sensors. I studied the brochure spec in detail and knew beforehand that it did not come with them and therefore I was not surprised nor disappointed.
Strangely though, it does have the 3 pin power socket fitted in the console in the rear passenger compartment and I thought that item was being deleted from SE spec. I’ve never yet tried it so cannot comment on whether it actually outputs enough power to run anything worthwhile.

Hi, i have a 2018 brochure here. It states that the SE model only has rear parking sensors. The front parking sensors are fitted on all models including Tech Line Nav and above.
Hope this helps.
