Has anyone had any problems trying to start the car R&A message comes up engine fault and everything closes down or not let you start the car if you want to tell me how I can get the car started to get it to the garage is the grandland 1.2 turbo

If the fault isn't allowing the car to start then whatever is causing it is considered serious enough for the car not to be driven,
don't you have recovery ?

Green Flag but not got home start so have to try and get car started first to get it to the garage

Do you have a code reader ?
if it was mine i'd really want to have a good idea of the issue before running it

Got it sorted my mate got a decoder round and put it on on and it cleared everything it's going good I good se auto spark could update everything without going to Vauxhall all the codes just closed down as a safety issue but all good now

Did you make a note of the codes before clearing them ?
the issue could be what Vx call a "software weakness" if it's a known issue you can usually get the software updated and often for free.
