Hi everyone.
i'm Gavin from Wiltshire.

I ordered a new grandland ultimate back in september and was told i would expect delivery in january.

Ive heard nothing from my dealer you think this will happen with the chip shortages etc?

HI gjm and Welcome to the Forum.

It may still happen but depends on whether they had all the parts etc. You should be able to contact the dealership who can request an update from the factory.

I wouldn't of thought so. There have been lots of issues due to chip shortages, Covid and supply issues worldwide which has had a impact on car production.

Bet you cant wait for it.

Have you decided to get a new one due to yours being 3 years old?
Looks like the GS line is like the old Elite Nav equivalent spec wise with a few extras.

Yes, my car will be 3yr old in December '22.

I also like the look of the new car, I think they have improved on the general looks of the car and due to be out of warranty.

With the new one I will have a full 3 years of warranty, just in case they have not sorted the wet timing belt issue out :)

Hi DaPa, absolutely look forward to getting the new Grandland. Had the privilege of looking over the new model at my local main dealer showroom in Bournemouth. In my opinion it’s certainly had a makeover, the exterior looks good with the interior much the same as my 2019 Grandland X Elite 1.2 petrol. Hopefully they have revised and improved the wet timing belt which continues to be an issue. Anyway, look forward and enjoy the ride.
