Reversing sensors from day 1 have given me grief! Had the Dealer mechanics check and re-check multiple times and , yes, working perfectly as far as they were concerned.
What happens more too often is when I put the car into reverse the sensors come on continuously, very frustrating!
I end up just switching the sensor system off completely, have my Grandland X from brand new.
Anyone else with same issue?
Have you had it resolved?

I really like my Grandland x elite Nav auto. It is surprising nippy.
However I agree with, right of wheel storage it’s ver shabby,
What’s the point of having a cooling glove bod and filling 90% of it with a fuse box! And the greyed our text borders on dangerous

Hi. I too suffer from the windscreen steaming up. But also, in cooler weather the inside of the windscreen is damp and i have to sit for a few minutes with the air conditioning switched on to clear it. I find that if i run with the air conditioning on all the time in autumn, winter, the issue of steaming up is sorted......but if i switch the a/c off i do start to steam up again. I find that the passenger side does clear quicker than the drivers side screen.....obviously set up for the continental market (left hand driving)

With regards to stop/start issues, mine has only worked a few times over the 30 months that i have had the car. (from new) Vauxhall and the dealership dont seem to be interested............ :|

Well we have had our Grandland X Sport Nav Turbo just over a year now and apart from the stereo which i wish was more user friendly i have no dislikes.
What it sounds like to me is stay away from Automatics which is no problem as i really don't like automatics :-)
I guess i would find it harder to find problems when i am driving to and from work in a 2010 corsa 1.2 with NO GUTS.
But the Grandland X gets the thumbs up from me

What dont i like about my Grandland........mmm let me think........the fact that the stop start doesnt work, and the inside of the front screen gets damp in winter.......nothing else.
I have an automatic, fantastic drive... would never go back to manual gearbox again.
Before i purchased my Grandlandx auto i took a test drive in both the manual and automatic gearbox, petrol and diesel...... i found the petrol auto was quite loud and didnt seem to change gear as fast at high revs. The diesel auto (which i purchased) is quiet and veryresponsive. Might i suggest that you try an automatic gearbox, you may be suprised.....

Not sure of any issues there have been with the Autos? The manuals have had problems with gearbox whines, in both Grandlands & 3008s. I find the 'Made in Japan' sticker on my auto box very reassuring.

The only thing about the Grandland that I have a problem with is the pedals being too close together Have got used to it now but have to be careful because it takes very little pressure catching on the footbrake during gearchange to apply harsh braking. Wife has no problem with this and its probably my big feet anyway. Funnily enough didn't notice it during the test drive. Otherwise I am very happy with this car and I particularly like the turbo which pulls like a demon.
