Hi all,
I have a 2022/23 Grandland 1.6 Hybrid and wish to fit a space saver spare wheel. Do I just remove the packaging under the boot floor and lay the new wheel on the batteries or do I have to buy a retaining fixing to stop the wheel moving about. The reason for going down this path is that I had a blowout in my last vehicle which shredded the tyre making the sealant canister unusable.
Fitting space saver spare wheel
The Hybrid doesn't have space designed for a spare wheel due the battery being in the way. You may be able to get a spare wheel in by removing the under floor stuff but you would need to come up with a way of restraining it yourself as Vauxhall do t do anything designed for it.
