My Grandland is just coming up for its first service. Rang a local Vauxhall dealership who quoted me £250.00. :| After a very sharp intake of breath, i contacted another Vauxhall dealership that was a few miles further away, and was quoted £162.97. A later enquiry into the cost of the second year service was eye wateringly shocking......given a price of £327.00. Has anybody else found the price of the servicing a bit of a shock. When i purchased the vehicle, i was offered a three year service plan at a cost of over £700.00. I have had Vauxhalls for many years, Zafira tourer and astra gtc, and have never had service costs which are so big.

Book the through the Vauxhall Website it's £159 for the 1st service and you can choose any dealer. I do it every time and they have to honour the price.

Last week at my dealer located in North Wales I paid £189 for the first (interim) service on my 1.2T, they quoted £300 for the second (major) service. That includes a courtesy car and of course the customary mini valet. Not sure if the costs are different for diesel versions.

Hi Thomas98. Thanks for the web page address. Just had a look on it and the prices are alot better than those quoted by dealerships directly. Very useful. :D

My pleasure. It unbelievable how much service costs vary from dealer to dealer. This way you get a guaranteed price and you choose your dealer.

Thank you! By reading this and clicking on the Vauxhall link, I've just saved over £100! My Grandland was booked in for an interim service tomorrow at my local dealer in Gloucestershire. When I booked it, they quoted £260, but when I found the fixed price on the link, I rang them and told them. Saying that I only wanted to pay the amount on the Vauxhall website. After a certain amount of teeth sucking at their end and putting me on hold, they finally said that they would 'honour' the online price. They really should be ashamed of themselves!

That's great. They can moan all they want, they have to honour the online price. 😊

I am paying 22.65 a month to the Baylis service plan thing for my Grandland.
So say there is money left in the account after the first / third / fifth etc interim service to top up the second / forth / sixth year big service.

Had it on the old zafira as well - the money I had left on the account for the zaf was given back to me when I traded in and then started a new plan on the GL.
