Pinging noise when mainly turning right

Hi Guys, do any of you have the same issue........ when driving along with just the radio on, i turn right ( happens less frequently when turning left) and get a ping noise and the sat nav comes on the display showing me nearby petrol stations, roads etc. To clear this i have to press the freen tick at the top left of the display. Any suggestions how i can stop this from happening, it can be quite annoying.... :roll:

I too had this fault and it was a faulty headlamp unit with a voltage drop.
