New Grandland X ordered.

Post by hardus77 » Fri May 17, 2019 10:10 am

Hello everyone,

Just ordered a new Grandland today and will part ex my Vauxhall Mokka for it.

Grandland X Elite Nav

1.2 Turbo, petrol Automatic.

Told it should be ready in April 2018. Most disappointed to learn that Vauxhall are NOT fitting it with the 360 degree panoramic camera!! Wont stop me buying it but why, on the largest SUV of their new fleet, they dont include what was widely advertised, the panoramic camera???

If anything changes, like they change their minds again, I will update the forum.

Thank you!

I ordered mine in March, after numerous delays got it on 18/4/19, I too queried the camera spec etc and was told they used to fit it on the Elite Nav but then brought out the Ultimate model and put full spec in that and reduced spec on the Elite.
I signed the finance papers waited two hours past my appointment while they prepared it for me then got told there was a problem with the front sensors.
It was 7.00 at night I couldn’t contact my insurance company to keep the Mokka I was trading in, dealer didn’t have courtesy car that day so had to take it.
Got it home found air con wouldn’t turn off, car wouldn’t lick without alarm going off. Took it back furious next day and suddenly they found a courtesy car, a basic Crossland. They still have mine. I’ve mentioned compensation to deaf ears.
Never had these issues before and will not give thus particular dealer any repeat business.

Got mine back yesterday all seems ok, but service sheet that came with it’s return said it was fine when it left the dealership and that I had found the fault next day! Completely untrue, service dept told me 3 weeks ago the general manager would ring me to discuss some way to compensate me but when I asked yesterday the attitude was if disinterest by one and ‘ so what do you want? Just ring head office nothing to do with us’ response. I should have stayed with dealer u bought my last 3 new cars from!
Lesson learned I suppose😩

Is your dealer also providing you with a time machine to go back to 2018 and pick it up?

The Vauxhall Grandland X is a family SUV that hopes to sway you away from alternatives with its reasonably large boot, good amount of standard safety kit and overall ease of use.
