The 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine officially returns 55.4mpg when fitted with the six-speed manual gearbox
Well, I'm not at all shocked of course, but across a mix of motorway and A roads today for about 140 miles I only managed to get 39.1mpg average on the clock of my 1.2 (130) petrol. First long journey it's had admittedly so time will tell... maybe.

Still. That's more than my Antara though

I read on the Peugeot 3008 forums that the mileage improves after a few thousand miles and the engine has 'bedded in'

Hi Baronoli, that sounds like fun! :o

Have you had the Grandland long? Im just wondering on the 'bedding in' principle that LizzyFan mentioned to see if this has any bearing on the mileage that you may have done? Im literally only a couple of hundred miles on the clock right now...

Was a good drive to Snowdonia and around the snowy roads. All road pack really works well(:

The mileage did improve just on the weekend trip. The outbound trip from London to Owestry averaged 35MPG. The trip back from Owestry to London (Via Holyhead - a lot of B roads!) got up to 42 MPG. Today driving to work in the city was up to 35MPG.

I've done around 950 Miles since 02/02 (:

Beat! Cruise control on at 70mph for a 70 mile journey and I hit 45.7mpg. Ive done about 400 miles to date, I'll be happy if things continue to bed in and I get more....
