The Long Thread of how many MPG you get...
My overall average for 4,300 miles is 39.9mpg (calculated brim to brim). On board computer showing 41.4mpg. Very pleased with the performance & economy so far.

I agree it is down to driving style. I have always squeezed excellent economy from the vauxhalls I have owned. Just come from an Astra gtc 1.4T petrol which I was achieving over 500 miles from a full tank, mainly motorway driving. Already I am noticing this 1.2 T puretech engine sips fuel and I am confident it will beat the Astra on the same journey. Once I have filled it up and seen what my typical commute achieves I'll report back. Mine is a year old so should have improved over new.
Averaging 54 mpg on the 1.2 turbo petrol (it's a year old). That's 90% motorway driving (average 60 mph) and a bit of urban plus traffic jams! I've managed about 350 miles on half a tank, and thats having the air con on mostly! It's your driving style that makes all the difference.
