I was supposed to pick up a new Grandland X elite nav Today 2/08/2019 had a call from my local garage who informed me Vauxhall had stopped release of 3 models including Grandland X being released to customers due to a recall. He did not know what the recall was for or how long it would be before I could get it. Wondered if any body on this forum had any information about this.

Hi still not got the car .local dealer says Vauxhall has still not told them why they cannot release the car(after 3 weeks ) but they think it is engine related. 1.2 turbo.
I have a 1.2 turbo and the drive shaft has just snapped. The car is just 8 months old. I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem and they are looking into it. I am having a nightmare contacting anyone of any importance to get answers to my questions about it.

Getting any infomation seems to be a problem with Vauxhall.Drive shaft snapping at only 8 months is a serious fault .Hope you get sorted soon.
