I have recently observed a short but noticeable beep when approaching stationary vehicles quite quickly before braking. Usually when the vehicle infront of me stops suddenly to turn or if I am about to steer into a turn left lane and there are stationary vehicles infront of me in the lane I am turning from. As my safety braking feature is set to the most distant setting I assume this beep is part of the safety warning radar system?
