hi new to this forum I've got 68 plate sport nav reading previous comments about tom-tom icon in right hand corner mine still as the TMC icon how do you update it anyone know thanks

You need to register on vauxhall connect.then activate tethering in your smartphone through blue tooth or cable. Nex start your navigation and tap messages icon in top right corner of screen.tap connection service and connect with smartphone. Tap earth icon . Live navigation is on .

Does this actually work with tethering? I have a 2018 plate Grandland X sport with the 8 inch navi system and I have tried connecting my iPhone via Bluetooth then going to the connections screen. It shows options for cable (USB) and Bluetooth, but I couldn’t get it to connect. I’ve also installed the Vauxhall connect app but that doesn’t seem to do anything with my GX. Any tips welcome if this does actually work on a 2018 plate GX sport.

You need to enable Bluetooth tethering on your phone, and on the system go to connected services, select your phone and tick all options for streaming, network and calls

Fantastic! I had no idea about this but I signed up and once I had tethered my iPhone over Bluetooth I was able to get realtime traffic updates, weather forecasts, petrol prices. Anyone know if it does anything else or whether this will also allow me to connect to the My Vauxhall app so I can check my vehicle data?
