Hi I have a Elite Nav 1.2 petrol. I have the 225/55/18 Wheels at 36 PSI all round as feel 32 PSI is too low.

ive got 19 inch 235/50 on and put 39 psi in , instead of 34 .
it feels more stable and better to handle .

ive always put 5 psi over , on all my cars .

also the edges dont wear out as quick , you get a more even wear from edge to center .

it really dose work for me , but some may not agree .

Always have mine at 39psi on my 1.2 Business Edition Nav. It improves rolling resistance and should make a tiny improvement to fuel consumption. Ride is not too hard for me or my wife (both disabled and feel the potholes!).
