Hi
Does anyone know if the mudflaps (splash guards) are easy fitted?
I might buy them myself from vauxhall and fit them, I'm being quoted Β£165 for the four mudflaps fitted in my local vauxhall garage, where I bought my Grandland (labour charge Inc)

When I bought mine the Vauxhall website said they were 'easy to fit' but the front wheels need to be taken off to fit them so I did not think this was an easy fit. I asked that my local dealer fitted them for me but they wanted to charge which I objected to. I complained to Customer Services at Vauxhall but without success.

If you turn the wheels to full lock, there is enough space to fit them and means wheels don't need to come off. I just drilled small pilot holes then used screws instead of the supplied pot rivets. Took me 10 mins a corner to fit.

Hi
How did the Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer fair on the plastic trim on your Grandland? Any pics? Did it wear well and protect?
Thanks

Yep, self tapping screws. means they can be removed easily if damaged.

thanks cyberbob
yeah, I just checked the box and they have supplied pop rivets, so dump them and drill a small 2mm (say) hole and then stainless steel self tappers, nothing too long I guess?
