I'm disappointed to see Vauxhall using some cheap ass alloys for the Grandland... Wonder if other models have similar issues.

I would still try even out of warranty. We have done with our Vauxhall Meriva nearly 6 years old now and they have covered one part and paid 75% for another even if you get a small contribution towards getting them replaced it might be worth doing.

Your profile says you're in Durham, I'm couple of miles away. Bristol Street Motors in Durham have decent service department. I'm sure they'll try to come up with something.

Just avoid Drive Vauxhall in Darlington. They are useless.
