New owner - Sat nav question

Hi,
Just got my new Grandland today. I had Insignias up to now.
Can anybody tell me how to put a dual address in to the navigation when the system doesn't pick up the address? I'm in Ireland and the road has no name, just what we call a townland name.

Also, a three finger tap brings up the Home screen. Can this be made permanent, as it just stays for a few seconds and then return to the radio screen or whatever had previous been shown?

Many thanks

Hi Paddy,
Welcome to the forum.
As for address for the 'townland name' have you tried touching the map screen on the place in question, then edit the dropped pin to give it a name, then saving it.
The position should then be always available to you.

Hi Paddy and Welcome to the Forum.

I have found this in the handbook not sure if its any help.

Waypoint trips
A waypoint is an intermediate
destination that is considered in the
calculation of a route to its final

destination. To create a waypoint trip,
you may add one or several
waypoints.
Enter or select the final destination of
your waypoint trip and start route
guidance.

While under active route guidance,
select MENU and then select Route /
Waypoints.

Select Add waypoint and then select
an option for address entry, e.g. Find
POI.

Enter or select a new address. The
address is inserted into the list of
waypoints.

If desired, enter further waypoints as
described above.

If you want to change the order of the
waypoints:

Arrows top left then touch the displayed
arrows to move the list entries up or
down.

Select Calculate to recalculate the
route according to the changed order.
To return to the navigation main
menu, select Finish.

To display a detailed route list of the
waypoint trip, select the Route tab.
