Hi Grandlanders, Iโ€™m driving and enjoying my 2019 GX Auto Elite 1.2 petrol on ContiSportContacts. 235/50 R 19 V tyres but after approx. 24000 miles am possibly looking to replace tyres some time in the near future and would appreciate any comments and advice as to which brand or type of tyre to go for. Enjoy the ride, I am. Safe motoring.

Hi Cargo42
I would 100% recommend Michelin tyres every time, they seem to stick to the road like glue. I run 'Michelin Primacy3' on my 2019 Grandland Sports Nav 1.2 Auto which were fitted at manufacture but I have ran Michelin tyres for years on my previous cars (Mokka, 3 x Zafira's) Grip in wet & dry is good with excellent wear as long as you keep the front wheel tracking checked occasionally. Have also used 'Michelin Cross Climate' but not sure if they are available in your tyre size.
I would be interested to see what other Grandlanders recommend as well.
Hope this helps

Hi Tony, thanks for the tyre info. I have used Michelins on various saloons before and I was pleased with them. Iโ€™m shopping around at the moment and will see what deals are available. What mileage have you got from your Michelins? Thanks again. Safe motoring.

My Grandland has only done 16000 (I've done 8000 in 12 months of owning it) but I've still got about 5mm depth remaining on rear and 4-5mm on front. I am just about to get front swapped to back and vica versa so that they wear evenly and then when down to 2mm will replace set of 4.

That makes sense to swap tyres around and you still have a good few miles before changing. So important good quality tyres. Keeps the car safely on the straight and narrow. Thanks again. Enjoy the ride.
