Just to add so it shows as “automatic brake failed”

Then goes away press the check button but says no faults.

Not sure if anyone else has had this

Hi
I had this same issue about 10 days ago.
stoped at a set of lights and the display said the same, also the info screen displayed my location and the nearest dealers??
The stop start was on and when I pulled away everything disappeared and went back to normal.
The dealer said if it happened again bring it in, but no issues since.
The other thing that's a bit strange is when start up from cold in the morning all the warning lights come on and go off as they should except the brake warning light that only goes off when I plug the seat belt in???

Hi,

Thanks for the info I have had the issue twice so far, if it happens again I will contact the dealer.

The cold issue start I have not seen but if I notice it will keep you updated.

I would check battery charge as a first step, especially if no faults have been found. Cold weather and low voltage can sometimes cause erroneous fault messages.

Unfortunately it started doing this before the cold weather.
I’m getting the “automatic braking system fault”
From that point the car starts and idles but the accelerator does nothing.
Then I tend to get 2 more errors:
Parking brake fault. Have the vehicle repaired
Engine fault repair needed

Until eventually it will start without any errors and I can drive it.

The battery is new, only had that replaced a few months ago.

It’s in with Vauxhall at the end of the month, just hope they can sort it.

It’s a lovely car. Just as long as you don’t want to actually go anywhere in it 😂😂

It does sound like a fault with either a sensor or the actuator then, fingers crossed you get it sorted and is something nice and simple!
