hi everyone just came across this site while looking for some issues with mpg

i had a bmw 2litre diesel before my grandland which put out 180bhp and my reason for changing was to get a better mpg as i was getting around 25mpg in the bmw

i now have the 1.2 petrol elite nav winter pack and i know i am not going to get the stated 51-55mpg it says but at the moment i am getting around 24mpg doing local driving, on motorway it is obivously better but still not as high as i was expecting

i have went back to lookers vauxhall where i bought it an they have told me to basically fill up car take pics of receipts and miles and do this two times then come back in too them

just wondering what everyone else was getting? so far i have done about 2400 miles since end of jan

TIA

I'm getting a 37.1mpg average... at maximum I've had 43mpg...a lot is down to driving style I'm, guessing.... but tbh I just enjoy the drive and the car these days rather than clocking the consumption...

I am getting 33.5 with 6000 miles on the clock
Its been steadily improving as miles add up
Hoping in a few more miles get low 40s to gall
We will see
Has anybody clocked around 20000 miles
And what mpg do they get at this mileage

I had 2 trips to Skegness in the last week mainly A roads no Motorways and averaged 43.7 mpg in my 1.2 turbo Techline I was very impressed for a petrol engine and a mid sized SUV.

I have almost 20,000 on the clock and I am averaging over 54 mpg, although most of my driving is motorway. It's a 1.2 turbo petrol sport.

We’ve got a 1.5 diesel and were only getting 43.7 to gall. The Vauxhall Grandland 1.5 Turbo show 51 to 56 per gallon so I’m not happy. I’ve told the garage I can’t afford to run it on 43.7 per gallon. They’ve said there speaking to Vauxhall, I feel there breaking trading standards say it will do 51 to 56 gallon. If not resolved they can take it back. It had done 3500 miles when we bought 19 plate

It is so dependant on driving style, conditions etc. I drive like a saint, virtually all motorway driving and average 55-60 mph speed as I find it more relaxing. I have the 1.2 petrol and although I keep auto stop disabled most of the time, I sometime enable it when I know there's the chance of long waiting queues. Currently I'm using Texaco which seems to be giving me the best mpg so far, I managed 360 miles before the gauge got exactly to the half point, so I'm expecting well over 500 miles before I need to fill. Probably averaging 53 mpg but I'll report back when I fill it up again and calculate the difference. I'll also compare it to the computer's calculation. :-). As I said my sport is manual and it's pretty settled in at 23K miles.

Averaging 46mpg, still early days (only 1500miles on clock). On a long run of 600 miles I got up to 56mpg, hoping it'll increase with more mileage

2019 Tech Line Nav 2ltr 177 done 10000 miles returning 52 mpg average on the motorway and 45 mpg urban driving and for the size and power of the engine I find that pretty good.
