Had a couple of issues since Saturday to today with my spanner light and dash warning saying "Engine Failure: Repair Needed"

It happens on the same hill, at the same spot, everyday about 3 minutes into my commute to work.

I get onto the start of the incline and the light and warning instantly come on.

Onstar mentioned that I have 3 codes stored now:
Powertrain issues
Emissions issues
Tranmission issues

Said safe to drive, but may have reduced power... With Coronavirus I'm struggling to get through to my dealership or get an answer via email.

Anyone had similar issues?

I had similar in my KIA Sportage - lost of power on the hill & check engine blinking.
Problem caused by faulty rubber pipe connected with turbo charger.

Had some investigation done, need a new Turbo and a new intercooler. Oil level was low so it looks like oil was getting into the turbo.

All done under warranty and being fitted this week, if the part comes

Incase anyone was following... Vauxhall still have my car.

There was talk of me getting a whole new engine as the damage went through the whole engine as it was starved of oil.

An update last week said they've managed to isolate it to a few parts... Now I'm having the following replaced:

Cambelt
Waterpump
Oil Pump
Sump
Sump pickup thingy

5 Months without my car and had a Corsa for 3 months now!

I dont think my car is far behind yours in age....but Im going well still. Just had a squeaky ball joint replaced at the weekend, cost me £40 so was a no brainer.

My MOT is due in Feb, we'll see....

Very similar to the Grandland in a few ways, but lots of ways not. Has the same interface (but the temperature is in white and not grey!) but startled how basic it is in trim level, I always thought courtesy cars from a dealer was to entice you to buy a new car, but it's far behind mine in technology!

Yeah I got mine Feb 2018 - had a few issues with it but nothing at my cost thus far. I had a weird knocking sound that I thought was a ball joint, but was told it was ABS. Only other thing outstanding is a rocky seat that is hopefully being sorted out as part of this issue and then I need to independtly get some leather replaced on my seat as it's cracked and come away :(

Hopefully both of our MOT's go well next year!
