Saw on a German site a possibility to e.g. project your speed on your windshield by means of a head-up display

it works via the OBD connection in your car (e.g. ELM327)

You can place the head-up unit on your dashboard, but you need a power supply, this cable will be neatly concealed in your car

it is for sale at eg costs about 45 € and an adapter eobd needed +/- 15 €

There's a lot of things like that on Amazon. I was thinking of buying one before for my Astra K but a lot of them show a lot of information I don't want or need.

I had heads up display built in in my 2019 Focus ST Line X. Brilliant thing to have. Everything you need is right in front of you on the windscreen. I kind of miss it. Might think about buying one of those for my Grandland to be honest.

Just seen this post and I'm interested (ulterior motive).

But just wondering if this is legal in the UK. Anyone know?
