Keyless fob battery life.

Hi. Anyone know how long the batteries last in these keyless fobs? Because the fob is always searching I can’t see them lasting as long as other car keyed fobs. Estimated longevity? 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 year or longer? Based on experience of having one.

I've had mine 18 months and changed the battery last month because the range had dropped slightly.

I replace mine about every 18 months as well.
