Screen black & no sound
The centre console screen has went black on my Grandland X (2018 sport nav). Radio/Parking sensors etc are not working, only sound I have is the indicators or the warning ‘ding’. Has this happened to anyone before? Any idea what the issue could be? Thanks

It sounds like the screen may have frozen. If you hold the phone button for 30 seconds it should reboot the system and hoepfully work again for you.

Mine has done similar. Screen is blank, no radio, no GPS (screen in middle of Speedo dials doesnt recognise where it is). Vauxhall logo comes up when turning car in for first time in a day but nothing else. Tried fuses which are ok and disconnected batteries for an hour which also didn't fix it. Booked into dealership in a month to be looked at, suspect it's gonna cost a small fortune.
Yes this is exactly the same as mine, USB also isn’t working, it’s like that whole unit and anything that is controlled by that has lost power. This is my fear. I have it booked in on Friday to be looked at. Was going to try a local garage but suspect I’d need to take it to a Vauxhall dealership to get to the root of the issue.jw021979 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 6:36 pm Mine has done similar. Nothing at all. Like comment below I also checked all fuses and battery and nothing. The USB also isn’t working, not recognising speed limits or location on drivers screen. All power has gone that is linked to the infotainment.GRANDLANDX68 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 5:49 pmDid it do anything ?kstew1906 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 1:31 pmHave just tried this and it didn’t work unfortunatelyGRANDLANDX68 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 5:52 am

Did you have any luck with getting your screen working?kstew1906 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 7:11 amYes this is exactly the same as mine, USB also isn’t working, it’s like that whole unit and anything that is controlled by that has lost power. No nothing sorted yet. Has been in with Vauxhall since Friday. They have advised I need a whole new infotainment system but no guarantees that this will fix the issue! (So I believe they are just suggesting this as they aren’t sure themselves!) So unsure what to do now as it’s a very large sum on money to spend with no guaranteesjw021979 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 4:29 pmDid you have any luck with getting your screen working?kstew1906 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 7:11 amYes this is exactly the same as mine, USB also isn’t working, it’s like that whole unit and anything that is controlled by that has lost power.
