Post by Lock-N » Sun Nov 17, 2019 1:38 pm

Not used my 🚘 for nearly 4 weeks now and today thought I’d let the engine run for a while .What I noticed was when sitting with the clutch pressed in I couldn’t get the car to go over the 3 Rpm

Extract from owners manual....
Turbo engine warm-up
Upon start-up, engine available
torque may be limited for a short time,
especially when the engine
temperature is cold. The limitation is
to allow the lubrication system to fully
protect the engine.

Thank you 🙏 Just never come across this before.Ill have to try again when car is at operating Temp .I can see the logic in protecting the system.A good protection for cold starts
