Just thinking has anyone put a map update and a firmware update together on a single USB stick? and then inserted in the car
If so did it work, what happened......

OK guys I have now uploaded the Map update version 17, the Firmware version 21-08-25-12 and the license file for the firmware to a Google drive storage.
the links are :-

License file

Firmware 21-08-25-12

Maps v17

I will try and keep them up to date
Remember you need the license file in a folder called license on the stick.
Use a USB memory stick 16Gb+ and unzip using WINRAR.
any problems downloading let me know

I still cant get mine to update the maps. I have even had a member send me a Usb flash drive and it gives the same error. I get no media content on the usb stick
Then second message- Update- Version not compatible with hardware.

I've just tried this, and although it took my VIN on the website, it then made me download the "Peugeot Update" software, which won't recognise my VIN. Please can you advise where I should be looking for the updates, as I assume I'm in the wrong place!

Apologies if this is a silly question. I've only had my Grandland for a fortnight and joined the forum. As the maps are showing something like version 14, though, I'm trying to get something a bit more recent!

Thanks in advance.

I will have to wait until Vauxhall Release it and see if it works for me then.

Many thanks for sharing those files Dsrogan. This is going to be my first attempt at updating the sat nav and firmware. I understand I have to have a folder on the usb stick named licence and ensure the file is in there.

Can you please advise - with the map and firmware update, do I unzip these directly to the usb stick, or do they require individual folders as well?

Once on the usb stick - with the engine running - do I simply plug it in and the rest will happen?

Many thanks in advance.

only license file needs a folder all other files go into the root (no Folder). Unzip onto the stick directly. I would do them 1 at a time Maps first and then Firmware, deleting the maps from the stick before putting the firmware files onto it.
