I have been told that the license file is keted to your VIN. So the file i have put onto my google drive nay not work for anyone else. I do have a quite complex process for creating a license file for your VIN.
Take a blank stick insert in car a d then go to system info screen and press the export config button.
On your stick you should have 2 file whose names contain the same 20 character key, this is your UIN.

Insert your UIN into the following links where it says YOURUIN
As an example my UIN is0D01031361D4EE673DC1

Used to get from peugeot website, but they have stopped that now, so i don't think you can update the firmware. Latest version is 2108-25-12 dated around march 2020. I have posted a copy into my google drive. But understand that the license file is tied to my VIN. Also on the google drive is the latest maps version 17. Look thru my previuos posts for the links to the google drive.

Hi GRANDLANDX68, any info on how you finally got it to work? Just bought a 68 plate Grandland x and I've read through this thread and tried everything and it just won't update, I get the usual no media content or version not compatible with hardware. I use a Sandisk 32 GB Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive Memory Stick formatted to fat32 which Exmokkaman used to update his ok and Its Nav 5.0 system. Tried both winrar and winzip to unzip contents and nothing doing, I'm pulling my hair out what little of it is left! Any help would be much appreciated, TIA.

Hi refereerick. I finally got mine to work by downloading this

http://download.tomtom.com/OEM/PSA/MAP/ ... _WAVE2.tar

Using 7-Zip I did nothing different to previous times.I downloaded the file then opened the 7-Zip Program and unzipped it to another folder on my pc.I then Copied that to My Toshiba 32GB usb flash drive plugged it in and it worked straight away.

Hi refereerick You need to copy the link to a word document then copy it back to your internet browser which should start it downloading.
