It worked for me without a Licence . I downloaded it and used 7-zip to unzip it. I then turned on my Bluetooth Tethering on my phone so it could connect via the Vauxhall App just in case. It took about 20 minutes to upload on to the car.

No OnStar Logo now Vauxhall logo. Screen seems to be slightly brighter

I tried downloading it. That was fine unzipping it fine, but after that I got lost. Would it be able to do this via a usb stick instead?

I downloaded it via the website then unzipped it to a folder on the computer and then copied the SWL and UpdateInfo files on to the USB stick. It worked for me.

I Guess its to do with the Software linking to the system.
